a look Stockghyll Barn Stockghyll Barn has been converted into a fabulous holiday home that is spectacularly situated beside the river Stock Ghyll, very close to the centre of Ambleside, in the heart of the Lake District. The windows and balcony look straight out up the white water and tree lined banks of Stock Ghyll, providing a dramatic but very peaceful setting. The riverside garden terrace offers a unique vantage point to sit by the river or paddle in its crystal clear waters. The property is fitted out to a very high standard which will delight the most discerning guests. There is excellent parking on site and a high degree of privacy and security whilst, incredibly, being within 250 yards of the town centre. The pictures on this page are of the interior of Stockghyll Barn and show the living room, kitchen and dining room. On the ground floor there are also a utility room and cloakroom with toilet plus a double bedroom with hand basin (ideal for elderly members of the family). Upstairs there are the master bedroom ( with ensuite), a bedroom with adult size bunk beds and a single bedroom. There is also a family shower room and toilet. All of the bedrooms are generously proportioned and furnished with good quality pine dressing tables, wardrobes and draws.

Utility room with fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Fitted kitchen with dishwasher, gas hob, microwave, oven and fridge. Large dinning room off kitchen with picture windows. Large living room with coal effect open gas fire, picture windows and patio doors to large balcony. Large balcony with seating, giving a beautiful vantage point to view the river. Number 3 benefits from full double glazing, gas central heating and lots of space to hang coats and store other outdoor gear. Stairgates, high chair and a cot are also available.
